My therapeutic approach combines elements of the psychoanalytic by looking into one's upbringing combined with practical elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, where then we'll define, measure, and reflect on progress over time.

Growing up as an immigrant who navigated various aspects of cultural differences through the help of some instrumental community members inspired me to combine my backgrounds in education and public service with mental health. We are the result of various factors of our upbringing, and as adults, we are able to identify them and make adjustments to continue to refine ourselves throughout our lives.

I consider it a great honor to bear compassionate witness to my client’s stories and help them make meaning of their experiences in a way that brings healing and restoration. In sessions with me, you can expect to find central themes in your life narrative and explore how your family and cultural systems may be impacting your overall well-being. I can help you identify and challenge the voice of your inner critic and develop more self-compassion.

I use a holistic framework, addressing mind, body, and spirit. Drawing on my experience as a yoga teacher, I offer techniques such as mindfulness and breathwork to deepen the mind/body connection. I help my clients to listen carefully to the messages their bodies are sending them and teach them ways to regulate and soothe their nervous systems. I can also assist clients in exploring their spiritual and religious practice and developing emotionally healthy spirituality.

My professional interests include trauma, identity, spirituality, family roles and transitions, attachment, relational issues, self-esteem, and anxiety. In couples therapy with me, you can expect to develop insight into how your family system, attachment style, and personal values are influencing your current relationship. We will identify and challenge destructive cycles and discover the underlying emotions driving interpersonal conflict.

I am passionate about reducing stigma around mental health issues and providing accessible, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care in a warm, trusting, and supportive environment.

I am dedicated to providing a supportive, positive, and welcoming environment for individuals of all ages. My goal is to create a safe space where you can be heard and understood and work together to navigate life's challenges. When working with children and adolescents, I help my clients gain new coping mechanisms and problem-solving skills when facing fears, stressful situations, or negative self-image.

I use an eclectic approach to therapy, with a strong foundation in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This evidence-based method focuses on the idea that our thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors, allowing us to address and change unhelpful patterns. Together, we will identify and challenge core beliefs, clarify your values, and align your daily actions with what truly matters to you.

Starting therapy or finding a new therapist can be daunting. I hope to offer you support and encouragement in the process!

Life can be hard. It comes fast and our human experiences can be a lot to handle.  I am motivated by the opportunity to walk alongside clients and offer them a safe, warm and non-judgemental environment so they no longer have to navigate life alone.  I operate out of a belief that every individual has worth and intrinsic value.   While new in the field of counseling, I bring a fresh perspective through my experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in non-profit organizations.  My approach is client-centered with foundations in CBT and play therapy.  I look forward to helping my clients progress towards self-awareness, personal peace, and success.  I am currently an intern, working under the supervision of Missy Terrell.

Our work will be a true partnership, as I meet you exactly where you are. My ultimate hope is for you to experience the freedom and joy of living fully in your own life.

I have experience working in many settings including the foster care system, child welfare and group practices. These experiences have shaped my approach to counseling and continue to fuel my passion for helping others. My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults concentrating on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, broken family relationships, boundary setting, life transitions, and various other mental health challenges.

In my free time I enjoy being with friends and family, exploring new places, going on walks (preferably with a coffee in hand!), and being outside in the sunshine.
