Erica Sabatello-Tringali
I work from a holistic, person-centered, choice theory/reality therapy approach in my counseling practice. I believe that every individual is comprised of a spirit, soul, and body, and exploring the impact that each part has on the other can result in breakthrough when dealing with mental and emotional struggles. I value the uniqueness of the individual and seek to explore what would work best for the client to achieve the change and understanding they are seeking.
Whether you are a child, student, young professional, adult with an established career or still trying to figure things out, it’s never too early or too late to learn how to take control of your mind and emotions and live a life free to pursue your dreams. I specialize in effective counseling for a wide range of topics including childhood fears and anxieties, bullying, self-harm, building meaningful friendships, social-emotional skills, growth mindset, goal setting, anger management, self-control, empathy building, college and career planning, self-esteem and confidence, and body image.
I hold a Master’s in Finance from Adelphi University and a Master's in Education in School Counseling from Seattle Pacific University. I spent my early career working at a top investment bank on Wall Street until the 2008 financial collapse when I pursued a life change. For almost a decade now I have enjoyed working as a certified School Counselor with K-12 students. Recently, I expanded the scope of my practice so I can apply my experience to help people of all ages.
